TestGorilla is software voor tests voorafgaand aan indiensttreding die is ontworpen om bedrijven te helpen bij het beheren van de volledige wervingscyclus, van het maken van beoordelingen en het uitnodigen van kandidaten tot het uitvoeren van een diepgaande evaluatie van de resultaten. Beheerders kunnen tijdens lopende tests geautomatiseerde schermafbeeldingen bekijken en waarschuwingen ontvangen wanneer sollicitanten de modus voor volledig scherm proberen te verlaten, om wanpraktijken tijdens het examen te voorkomen.
TestGorilla stelt wervingsteams in staat om specifieke beoordelingen, functierollen of tests voorafgaand aan indiensttreding te selecteren uit de ingebouwde bibliotheek en de gebruikersinterface aan te passen aan de organisatorische vereisten. Recruiters kunnen aanpasbare vraagtypen maken, zoals multiple-choice of open vragen, en antwoorden van sollicitanten ontvangen in de vorm van video's. Managers kunnen kandidaten uitnodigen via e-mail of aanmeldingslinks en in realtime inzicht krijgen in de status van assessments. Ondernemingen kunnen sollicitanten ook rangschikken of sorteren op basis van beoordelingen, alfabetische volgorde, recente activiteiten of reacties, en deze analyseren door prestatierapporten, gepersonaliseerde video's en testscores te bekijken.
Met TestGorilla kunnen kandidaten belangrijke documenten, inclusief portfolio's of cv's, uploaden naar het platform. De software maakt integratie mogelijk met verschillende kandidatenvolgsystemen van derden, zoals Greenhouse en SmartRecruiters. De testbibliotheek biedt ook beoordelingen voor specifieke werkvaardigheden op verschillende gebieden, zoals digitale marketing, leiderschap, codering, kritisch denken, boekhouden en meer.

I have trust in the system's ability to accurately assess the candidates' technical skills. It has a built-in library of 250+ tests as well as the ability to create s customized assessments with a range of questions such as essay, text, and video-based questions.
Pluspunten
It is a fantastic and entirely customized tool for assessing candidates. It is a great platform for testing candidates' expertise before hiring them, and we can create tests based on our specifications in a short period of time using numerous modules.
Minpunten
Many of my candidates complain that they did not receive their exam invitation invite, so there should be a resend/ reminder that will be appreciated. there are also no multiple-choice questions.

It was my go to system, until I renewed, now I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. So brutal with customer care and they take take take... stay clear.
Pluspunten
They changed their billing options to remove features that are critical at the price you are paying and then when the system renews and now you don't want to use the system because it doesn't do what you want it to do they magically can't reverse the charges. They are criminal. Their customer service team is brutal too. They only communicate via email and ad zero value. Don't be fooled.
Minpunten
They let you start with features you get used to using at a rate that is manageable. Then they change their plans so the features you want to use you have to pay 10 times more for the following year.

We communicated to all customers in June 2022 about the changes to the PAYG plan that would take effect on renewal. This gave our customers ample time to familiarise themselves with any changes that would impact on their assessments - your plan was renewed in January. Worth bearing in mind that we also added features to the PAYG plan - additional custom questions, intro video etc. If you have further feedback or would like to reactivate your paid account at any stage, please don't hesitate to contact us

Pluspunten
Instead of digging through 50+ resumes, you sort on candidates' test scores. Using testgorilla's assesment as an entry point for your selection procedure gives an amazing filter to only let smart, capable, candidates into your further procedure.
I've both selected and not selected candidates that we otherwise would have missed, or would have been an unproductive use of our and their time.
In the interviews we had with the top 5 test-takers we could focus solely on personality and culture fit, having the confidence already that a candidate can perform on a certain level.
Moving forward, we will never post a job offer again without using a pre-selection assessment to filter candicates.
Minpunten
When used in comination with a job board, we've found candidates that did the test but did not apply, did apply but forgot the test, or did both as meant to happen.
This lead to checking and comparing of both lists of people. This can be prevented by using Testgorilla as the main recruitment tool

An easy-to-use platform with great features for assessing candidates.

Pluspunten
I like the ease with which you can either invite candidates to a assessment and also send them reminders for the assessment. Saves time and effort. I also like how you can change the status of a candidate to "Interviewed", "Candidate withdrew application", "Rejected" etc. Also the Anit-Cheating monitoring is super useful.
Minpunten
I would only say it is a bit expensive. There is nothing else I can think of in terms of improvement to the product. Maybe an option to also save candidate contact numbers and Linkedin URLs so that the dashboard can be used to directly to make calls etc.
