QuickBooks Payroll is een compleet platform voor salarisadministratie voor kleine ondernemingen dat bedrijven volledige controle biedt over de salarisberekeningen en arbeidsuren van hun werknemers. De oplossing voor salarisadministratie bevat een interne calculator die automatisch belastingaangiften berekent op basis van het aantal ingevoerde uren.
Met QuickBooks Payroll kunnen gebruikers de salarissen en uren van werknemers invoeren en vervolgens het salaris van het personeel aan hun gekoppelde rekeningen toewijzen. Er kunnen ook volledige belastingrapporten worden bekeken, en retourbetalingen worden automatisch berekend en kunnen binnen enkele seconden worden verwerkt. Belastingaangiften kunnen worden beheerd op basis van geografische locatie om te voldoen aan de arbeidswetgeving van de staat.
Alle gegevens die zijn ingevoerd in QuickBooks Payroll zijn volledig transparant, en gebruikers kunnen realtime rapporten bekijken die kunnen worden geëxporteerd naar Excel-spreadsheets. Het complete backend-dashboard is geoptimaliseerd voor mobiele apparaten, waardoor gebruikers de mogelijkheid hebben om de salarisverwerking te beheren terwijl ze niet op kantoor zijn. Na het inloggen kunnen gebruikers met QuickBooks Payroll betalingstaken toevoegen, bewerken en uitvoeren en meldingen voor belangrijke updates genereren.

The ease of importing hours, processing payroll (including through direct deposit), keep track of taxes, and processing annual W2s.
Minpunten
It was a bit more expensive than we would have liked to pay given that we are a small nonprofit.

It is unfortunate they do not have discounted pricing available to wholesale billing accounts for accountant users. The pricing is higher than most other payroll platforms.
Pluspunten
It is directly integrated with our bookkeeping file without the need for manual inputting entries.
Minpunten
It does not have the capability to express process payroll for direct deposit. It also does not have the capability to submit source deductions to CRA with each payroll processing like many other payroll service providers do.

Quickbooks does not thoroughly and correctly handle the taxes that they claim to support. On top of that, competitors like ADP DO handle this correctly AND go the extra mile to properly manage other garnishments and withholdings that QBO won't touch. QBO is only marginally cheaper than competitors and only if you are getting substantial discounts.
Pluspunten
Quickbooks payroll has good time tracking and job costing functions. Those functions are not worth the issues you will have with a lack of support and incorrect tax filings.
Minpunten
The tax filings are incorrect and incomplete and it is like pulling teeth trying to get Quickbooks to even acknowledge issues, much less fix them. After migrating, we suddenly found ourselves spending more energy trying to run down and fix quickbooks errors than we were spending doing it all ourselves. To this day, Quickbooks refusing to acknowledge that our local taxes are required to be filed more frequently than annually, despite many letters from our local assessment agency indicating that we have missed filings and clearly laying out when filings are due.

There is a lot of online support and documentation available. We used QuickBooks payroll for over 10 years but eventually the software glitches made us look for a new system. It works well for very small businesses with a very limited number of employees.
Pluspunten
It was easy to track and update payroll. The automatic payroll updates with tax tables were very helpful. The liability payments and tax fililngs were very simple.
Minpunten
It was slow to process payroll, and it often had glitches. We had to contact Quickbooks support on a regular basis who often had us do unconventional workarounds for known system errors until they could have a software update released. We
