Over FileCloud
FileCloud is een oplossing voor het delen, synchroniseren en back-uppen van bedrijfsbestanden waarmee gebruikers bestanden en gegevens veilig kunnen openen, beheren en delen via hun webbrowser, mobiele app, toegewezen virtueel apparaat en meer.
FileCloud integreert met Microsoft Office en Outlook, alsook met andere apps zoals Excel en Okta. De integratie met Zapier zorgt ervoor dat de productiviteit van gebruikers verder wordt verbeterd, zodat gebruikers verbinding kunnen maken met meerdere tools, zoals Evernote, Trello, Gmail en Google Drive.
FileCloud ondersteunt externe toegang en gegevenssynchronisatie, zodat gebruikers altijd en overal toegang hebben tot hun gegevens via elk apparaat. FileCloud biedt zowel self-hosting als cloudgebaseerde oplossingen, waardoor gebruikers het platform kunnen integreren in hun IT-infrastructuur en -opslag, of het kunnen hosten waar ze maar willen – geen installatie nodig.
Het platform geeft bedrijven volledige controle en eigendom over hun gegevens met beveiligings- en bestandsdelingtechnologie zoals openbaar en privédelen, ingebouwde documentpreview en gedetailleerde mapmachtigingen, alsook antivirusscans, bestandsversleuteling, tweestapsverificatie, ransomware-bescherming en compliance-ondersteuning voor HIPAA, AVG en meer.
Andere FileCloud-functies omvatten aanpasbare branding, contentbeheer en samenwerkingstools zoals aangepaste workflows, meldingen, opmerkingen en bestandsvergrendeling. Het platform biedt beheerdersfuncties zoals gebruikersbeheer, bestandsanalyse en rapporten, volledige controlelogboeken en toegang op basis van rollen.

Excellent platform for customer file share and dataroom

Pluspunten
We use it as a virtual dataroom. Very easy to setup access, implement MFA, use custom styling and logos.
Minpunten
Although FileCloud is not expensive, guest users can be a hidden cost.

It is important to us to run the file exchange on premises. This product checks all the important checkboxes.
Minpunten
Nothing of significance so far. Frequent updates - I guess this is actually a benefit but it takes administrative resources.

This is great online storage solution (and sharing) with HIPPA compliance function and Drive for windows. We mainly wanted to use Drive for windows to create local drive on our users devices. But Drive for windows has some limitation and slowed down. Hence, we stop using it. But their tech support is great and in addition they meet with us multiple time to see how they can address our needs in future.

FileCloud Drive for windows has limitations.
Quick Edit function is great but I wish was not limited to one file.

Drag and drop works without a hitch, sharing files is easy, accounts and passwords are a snap.
Minpunten
What I liked least is one of the things I like best. The fact that it's web-based was great for me! Having to explain this to some of our internal users was what I liked least. :D

I personally use FileCloud at home (on prem) and also we use FileCloud for a number of our clients and feel that its the better solution compared to others on the market.
Pluspunten
Layout and ease of use is my favorite aspect of FileCloud.

The change between limited and guest accounts in how they access data. It was a little confusing.
