Groundplan software is kostenramingsoftware voor de bouwsector die bedrijven helpt bij het opslaan van documenten en projectmanagement. De tool wordt gebruikt door verschillende beroepen, waaronder elektrotechniek, sanitair, brandweer, HVAC, dakbedekking en landschapswerkzaamheden. De toepassing stelt schatters in staat om in realtime samen te werken met andere medewerkers terwijl ze aan ramingsplannen werken. De software is toegankelijk via een webbrowser op elk soort apparaat met internettoegang.
Groundplan wordt gebruikt in de elektrotechniek om led-inbouwspots te tellen en kabeltrajecten te meten om ramingsprocessen te verbeteren. De toepassing wordt ook gebruikt in sanitairprojecten van ziekenhuizen, scholen, kantoorgebouwen, detailhandel en woongebouwen om pijpfittingen te meten en om een stuklijst te verstrekken. Met Groundplan kunnen gebruikers projecten beheren door belangrijke datums en deadlines op een kalender in te voeren. De agenda wordt automatisch in realtime gesynchroniseerd met Outlook- en Google-agenda's om een geconsolideerd overzicht van vergaderingen, afspraken en tijdlijnen te leveren.
Groundplan biedt project- en startsjablonen waarmee gebruikers formules kunnen bijhouden en symbolen kunnen toewijzen voor een eenvoudige kostenraming op regelmatige basis. Met de tool kunnen bouwschatters ook een bestaand plan herzien en een nieuw plan uploaden zonder tussen de schermen te hoeven wisselen. Alle projectdocumenten en plannen kunnen worden gedownload en gedeeld met de eindklanten.
Extra functies in Groundplan omvatten werkbladen voor schattingen, formulebeheer, het tellen van items, lengtemeting en takenlijsten. De toepassing biedt een gratis proefperiode van veertien dagen met volledige functionaliteit.

Pluspunten
Groundplan is very easy to use. The team, especially Caz is exceptionally helpful and they are great at helping you achieve a result if you can show them what you are trying to achieve. The integration with Simpro is exceptional once you understand how it works, this can be a little overwhelming if you are new to Simpro and Groundplan.
Minpunten
The icon sizing is not particularly easy to get right and takes a few clicks to change. This is only an issue when designing plans for presentation but does not affect take-offs.

Smart guide has been a great addition - and it's great being able to create new symbols as required and the support is FANTASTIC

I've found it hard to size symbols correctly but luckily the Groundplan team helped with that. BE SURE TO DO THE FREE ONLINE TRAINING!

Took a few months to learn it properly and set up templates but now I love it. I've recommended the program to a lot of people and I always suggest getting some one on one training and setting up templates and think about how you would most use it prior to the training. I did this and the trainer actually suggest more options that I now use almost every day.
Pluspunten
How easy it is to mark up, notes and make changes to send to field staff or engineers for advice/approval.
Minpunten
The only thing tht may be missing is to be able to copy and section of a plan and paste it either on the same plan or on a new page etc to be able to mark up or do a blown-up section with mark ups or detail notes etc. But knowing Groundplan this feature may exist and I just don't know about it.
