Not enough apps for my business model > > I really enjoyed using Google Voice on the free level, but our business grew, and we decided to stick with Google Voice, but move to the business level. We were not informed that we had exceeded our max message/call limit. We were just cut off. To do this we had to purchase a monthly subscription to Google Workspace. This product is not built for my type of company, a mobile cat grooming service, but really nothing is, and we are forced to run our business on a patchwork of apps. We were hoping for more functionality and consistency across our platforms once we decided to upgrade to the Business level of google voice and thus jump in with Google Workspace. The transition was pretty hard for our company. We had no phone for 2 weeks while we transitioned. Ill say that again. If you have Google Voice at a personal free level, and you want to go to a higher level, you have to pause your phone lines to do the transition. Then each person in my company needed an email, or so I was prompted, at a fee per user, of course. None of this did we need. We just wanted to use a higher level of google voice.
