Via deze site wil ik een eerlijke review schrijven en mijn twee sterren toelichten. Ik heb onlangs voor Pixpa gekozen om mijn eigen website te maken voor het verkopen van natuurfoto's. Over het algemeen ben ik erg tevreden over de functionaliteiten en de gebruikersvriendelijkheid van het platform. Echter, als inwoner van Nederland, ben ik teleurgesteld dat ik van Pixpa geen ondersteuning krijg voor IDEAL-betalingen. IDEAL is een populaire betaalmethode in Nederland en wordt veelvuldig gebruikt door klanten. Het ontbreken van IDEAL als betalingsmogelijkheid vormt een belemmering voor de verkoop van mijn foto's in Nederland. Niet alleen voor mij, maar voor iedereen die in Nederland via de Pixpa site wil verkopen. Ik heb meerdere malen contact opgenomen met de klantenservice van Pixpa, en meerdere keren mijn verzoek ingediend om IDEAL-betalingen toe te voegen voor Nederlandse gebruikers. Maar helaas is er tot op heden geen enkele vooruitgang geboekt. Dit heeft me gefrustreerd omdat ik geloof dat het aanbieden van deze betaalmogelijkheid in Nederland essentieel is. Als suggestie voor verbetering zou ik Pixpa willen aanmoedigen serieus te overwegen om IDEAL-betalingen toe te voegen. Kortom, Pixpa is een geweldige websi

Compared with other expensive tools Pixpa is easy, quick to set up. Also the customer service is very quick and helpfully. I use this tool already years and it works for me the best.

The amount of possible templates could be more extend. Also to support a better strategy to use SEO could be helpful.

Our experience has been really good, great in fact! Their customer service has to be the best in the business. One of the main reasons why we keep choosing and recommending Pixpa. We did try one of the in house website builders from the domain hosting service (OMG so bad) but we went back to Pixpa almost immediately! If they can remain price competitive then they deserve every success as it really is a great product!

The platform is aimed at photographers and creatives but it's very flexible, fully featured and a very sophisticated platform that doesn't need (but can support) coding. Compared to the other platforms we have tried Pixpa has been the best option.
Minpunten
Not found any limitations that have made us want to switch CMS. being able to add subscription based account management / access to certain pages as a native feature would be brilliant but they do have support fro third party systems.

I was struggling to find a good platform to host occasional blog posts with a lot of photos. So far, Pixpa has been amazing at hosting all of my pictures in high resolution while also displaying blog posts wonderfully!

I love how easy it is to write blog posts, and there are so many layouts that I can use to display my content. I can also upload as many pictures as I want. As a photographer, it's very important to me that I can upload my pictures and that they're displayed in high resolution. Pixpa offers this at a great price.

The interface can be a bit challenging to use some times. Additionally, managing photo galleries could be a bit easier, but it's not really too big of a deal.

I wanted a low cost, good-looking website, with hosting included. Pixpa made implementation easy, even for someone who does creative art work, not a professional in the web design business. In only a few days, I had a complete, beautiful site, with a functional store. compared to another provider Id used in the past for another domain, my site is easier to use and better looking. Customer service was very helpful with the one question I had. I will be continuing to use Pixpa.

Pixpa made connection and hosting easy. Their many templates were good looking, and I found one that looked appropriate for my art display. Customizing with logo, content, and colors was easy. Hooking up to Stripe payment was not difficult either. The store sections are easy to set up, as there are prompts like SEO, tags, and more.

I understand their reasons for not connecting domain name email as it is just not what they want to do. But I did have to get my email from another place. Hover, who did the domain connection, had inexpensive email, so it was not really a problem. It would also be nice to have additional payment options, beyond PayPal and Stripe, although these are very common. I use Stripe, so again, not a problem, but I have been asked to identify areas where they could improve, so there you are!

Pluspunten
Pixpa software fitted my brief. Had lots of photography templates for selling photos online, with no commission on sales. Are able to sell prints or downloads by e-commerce and more importantly for me, can use self forfillment. This way I have full control over the way any prints sold look and are presented to the customer in most cases the driver.
With a 15 day free, full featured trail. Could change the website template at anytime. Unlimited pages and galleries, with unlimited images you can add to a gallery. Great so I could add extra photos later on if a driver contacted me.
Easily connect your own domain name to your website. I had bought the domain name first so that I could watermark my photos as I was building the new website (even though Pixpa provide a way of doing this within the template software). This was just my way of working because some of these photos may also appear on my Facebook page and I didn’t what non watermarked images on Facebook.
Connecting my domain name was the bit that I had the most trouble with but was very quickly resolved by the Pixpa Support team for me, easily within an hour or so. I think my problem with this part was more to do with me wanting to get my website live and not lose any of the work that I had done over the last 10 or so days.
Pixpa not only have 100’s of online documents to help you build your website but can even set-up your website for a fee. I did use some of these to help in the process of building my website.

When you download several photos into your gallery the latest selection is always first I would prefer that the latest downloaded photo is at the bottom.

There are many things I love about Pixpa. I switched website hosts to save money and add features I didn't have before. The thing that pleasantly surprised me the most was the customer support. I've reached out a few times for creative support and each time I was met with detailed, clear support. One person even created a screen recording to show me how he did something, which I loved, so I could reference it back if I ever needed it. I could also do the update myself, even though they already took care of it for me, so win win! I love that they look at my actual website and support specifically to my site rather than in a general way. This alone will make me a life long customer. But on top of that I've loved being able to create a blog where I can embed video and images. The client galleries are super customizable where I can turn on and off different features for different galleries and albums. Designing the overall website was easy and intuitive to me, and I love that I can import custom fonts and colors to match my branding. I'm so glad I switched to Pixpa last year!

A selling point for me with Pixpa is that it offered a blog, client galleries, as well as selling prints directly through the website.

I have had some issues with some levels of customization. One specifically is with title fonts not being cohesive for my blog in different views. Images are suppose to be optimized based on my selection, but I find my website gets poor performance scores, so I'm not sure if that is happening on the backend. I wish there was a way to customize the layout of my blog a big more, especially with images.

Overall, I'm happy with Pixpa after using other hosting services. It is easy to learn and use, it has intuitive menus, the price is a bit high for me but I recognize that they offer good service. Customer service has also been very satisfactory so far.
Above all, I appreciate the ease of use, which saves me a lot of time. I will continue using it as long as it maintains this price for what it offers me.

I had been using Weebly for many years and grew frustrated and annoyed at their high costs until I found Pixpa.
I love how affordable they are and the range of features that they offer and as a result, my website is doing much better than it was when it was at Weebly.

Easy to Get Started & Templates Look Good

I most appreciate that Pixpa makes it easy to get a nice and professional looking website up an running without a large financial investment and without much knowledge or experience in web design. It's easy to see the changes I make on the website and it's easy to reverse the changes if I don't like it.

Where I see that Pixpa could improve is the formatting of photos (being able to use more photo sizes) and changing the layout of the online store.

If you want a basic to moderate level website that includes e-commerce options than Pixpa is recommended. Its pretty easy to use once you get familiar with the settings and the annual costs are very competitive.

A couple bugs here and there that need to get ironed out. But the support team are excellent and there 24/7 and deal with solvable issues quickly. Sometimes you have to wait a while for them to come back to you for more complex issues. I would like the option to upload MP4 video clips directly instead of having to have them link from YouTube. The platform lacks on some advanced features but if you don't need anything fancy then that's not a problem.

I love how easy it was to use. I was able to make an entire website in one day! There online "help" center answers most questions and then their customer service was great at answering additional questions in mostly real time! My old website started losing functionality and the company I had it with would never help. This is by far the best feature for novice web designers!

Super easy to set up, and intuitive to access the more in-depth features. Navigating the editing menus isn't difficult, and it ends up looking pretty polished and professional!
They also had pretty decent customer support for when I needed help setting up a Meta pixel. I got a screen recording made by someone on the team to show me what to do!
