I used this to sell my product. This made it very easy to manage my inventory and customers. Customers would easily contact us and we would sell more products. This made my management a lot better.

The only bad thing about Ecwid is that it does not provide a payment gateway. It would be even easier if we could link PayPal, Stripe etc.

I use this as an add on to my Wix website. The combination of the two gives me absolutely everything I need. I like how easy it is to use and that I can customize it. I love the app. The assistance I have needed has also been top notch!

The fact it is only one page. This is why I went with Wix for my website and added Ecwid for my store.

This software is easy to teach and can be used on any device. When showing my clients of multiple ages how to add new products and keep inventory they catch on easy. You can integrate your store on different platforms like Adobe Muse, Wix, Wordpress etc. Or create your own generic store using their store builder. There are more options for product variations than most other programs out there.

Unfortunately customizing your store look is very complicated. You need to have some level of coding to do so or you have to hire a designer to do it for you. The main downside is it doesnt work well if you want to use it or a restaurant. Food options, layout, mixed with customizability does cause an issue in the food industry.

User-friendly platform with a great database of instructions, no coding needed but I you want to use coding, it's possible and for people who want to learn coding here, they provide a great CSS Cookbook. Very inexpensive Ecommerce platform if you start from scratch.

There is nothing that I don't like from Ecwid.

Being able to categorise products in a straight forward way. The website manager allows you to change the layout to your own vision and keeps track of you inventory. For a small business owner this is great as you can keep track of the business in extreme detail.

For additional add ons you have to have a monthly subscription. However, the cost of this is on par to other online shopping website domains.

Actually, it was the customer service that rocks. Management has their hand in your pocket 24/7 nudging you to buy or upgrade. very annoying. Ths CS team does a great job, maybe they can send management home early soon.

Constantly having to needing to upgrade when some of these items should be included in the monthly fees. It is very hard to budget when it is necessary to buy an optional plugin or and unexpected item you thought was part of the package isn't and more money goes out the door for that instead of for the customer or potential customer.

Ecwid is a robust platform for the newcomer with pretty much everything streamlined to get your website up and running in no time.

Ecwid might make you have a website up and running in no time but that means it is going to look like a template available to anybody, so you might end up having a copycat website somewhere. For seasoned developers/designers this is not your platform.

It supports a wide range of payment gateways and methods, providing flexibility for my customers in making purchases.

My only issue is response times and the availability of support resources.

Ecwid is great software for small businesses and solo entrepreneurs who are starting their businesses. It provides a ton of features and offers a free business site to sell your products. To avail some features you need to buy their plan but that's inexpensive too.

Although it's great for beginners, it may not be best for big businesses who are looking for a lot customisation. As the features may not be adequate for big businesses

It is easy to use and contains many features, and you can choose from many ready-made templates

It's a little expensive, but not much considering what you'll get

its integration with existing business was seamless

Easy to use. The free store option is possible for life long if you have got less than ten products. This free feature nobody offers. Customer service is very good. We can customize the software with a price though. There are additional apps to help us with a few things. I am satisfied with the software even though it's not 100% perfect. That's only because of the nature of business changes for every company.

There are a few. But still, the software is usable and good. Sometimes the software loads slowly in mobile phones and I feel it's a and network issue.
Once I update a paid order, this would not show when and what time the update was made. SImilarly for any updated crucial step, this software would not show.
The change inside the order, for example, adding a product or deleting a product won't automatically calculate the taxes. We have to manually redo the calculation for all the products in the order. Customizations are not very cheap and very few free apps to integrate. Overall the cost may increase if you need a lot of additional apps.
For example, an e-commerce website will definitely need to ship in most cases. So creating a shipping label should be an integral part of any e-commerce website. I am not sure only Ecwid does not have it or no websites have it. But an e-commerce website should have it. I feel it now after using a website.

Ecwid's admin panel makes it super easy to set up an online shop. Even better, if you're already using a Wordpress site, you can quickly add that shop to your site without having to plug in any number of WooCommerce plugins and extensions that you'd need to do everything that Ecwid has already done for you. Another bonus is the ability to give clients a way to log in and manage their shop without having to log into their website. Many of my clients are way too nervous to log into their live site, but feel perfectly comfortable logging in to a more focused shop-only dashboard.

Early on, there were a few nuances I didn't like, but the service has come a long way in terms of development over the past few years, leaving me with nothing on my list of things I don't like.

It has helped to provide an organized and efficient back end for all my products.

I would like to be able to adjust the weight of each item in pounds and ounces rather than just ounces as my shipping software accepts the data in that way.

I used ecwid for over 6 years and it worked fine until they turned of the login by password

They decided to just turn off the login by password causing the most important features on my webshop to stop working, 2000 customers are not able to login anymore. Thank you very much!
